Host Defense Fellowship Pediatric Infectious Diseases

Caring for immunocompromised children has emerged as a subspecialty within infectious diseases that requires additional training. The Ohio State University College of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, Division of Infectious Diseases at Nationwide Children’s Hospital is pleased to offer an Infectious Disease Host Defense Program (HDP) fellowship position for the 2019-2020 academic year. This oneyear, non-ACGME accredited fellowship is intended for qualified physicians who have successfully completed a Pediatric Infectious Diseases fellowship and wish to gain the additional expertise necessary to pursue a successful career in pediatric infectious diseases, with a focus on the comprehensive prevention and management of infections in immunocompromised children.
